About the role
This is a practical, people-focused role where no two days are the same. As our Field Representative, you will be a key link between Thornhill, our clients, Team Leaders, and field crews.
You’ll spend time across multiple work sites, supporting day-to-day field operations, guiding teams, checking work quality, promoting health and safety, and ensuring clients receive a high standard of service. You’ll also play an important part in keeping information accurate for timesheets, payroll, invoicing, compliance, and reporting.
The Thornhill Way
Is our shared commitment to living our values through positive and ethical behaviour.
By leading with excellence, honesty, fairness and drive as we work safely, support one another, and help our people, clients and communities grow.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, communicating well, builds strong relationships, and can bring structure, follow-through, and calm problem-solving to a busy field environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting and coordinating field crews across multiple horticulture and viticulture work sites
- Working closely with clients and Team Leaders to understand labour needs and support service delivery
- Carrying out site visits and inspections to monitor work quality, performance, and safe work practices
- Receiving, checking, and following up timesheets and records for payroll and invoicing accuracy
- Supporting field staff with training, communication, transport, and day-to-day issues
- Helping maintain accurate client, employee, block sheet, compliance, and operational records
About you
- You have experience leading, supervising, or coordinating field-based teams
- You are organised, reliable, and confident managing details, deadlines, and records
- You communicate well with a wide range of people, including workers, Team Leaders, clients, and managers
- You take health, safety, and wellbeing seriously and lead by example in the field
- You are practical, solutions-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced operational environment
- You understand the importance of confidentiality, accuracy, and following agreed processes
What we offer
At Thornhill, you’ll be part of a team where The Thornhill Way is lived every day. This role offers the opportunity to put people and safety first, build honest and trusted relationships, treat others with fairness and respect, and work together to improve how we support our field teams and clients.
- A hands-on leadership role with variety and purpose
- The opportunity to support field teams and build strong client relationships
- A values-led workplace where The Thornhill Way guides how we work with our people, clients, and communities
- A supportive team environment with genuine opportunities to contribute and grow
To be considered for this role, you will need to:
- Hold a relevant Level 3 qualification in horticulture, viticulture, agriculture, management, or a related field, or have at least five years’ relevant work experience
- Be willing and able to complete pre-employment checks, including a drug test
- Show a commitment to continuous improvement, safe work practices, and contributing positively to a team environment
