Field Sales Engineer, West

For our client, we are seeking a Field Sales Engineer West to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for various projects
• Prepare and deliver technical sales support materials
• Develop tailored system design recommendations
• Manage project initiatives and ensure maintenance of existing systems
• Conduct training seminars on-site and via webinars
• Create Requests for Proposals and Information as needed
• Coordinate trials and proof of concept installations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Network Engineering, Information Systems, or relevant experience
• 4+ years of customer-facing experience in networking and/or video-related systems
• Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, RESTful, infrastructure)
• Excellent verbal and listening communication skills
• Demonstrate positive customer interaction and presence
• Proficient in presentation and technical writing skills, especially for manuals and proposals
• Skilled in designing video, audio, and network topologies
