Field Sales Manager

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and execution excellence within the assigned territory. A key priority of this role is to support and enable distributors in driving sell-out performance, ensuring strong in-market execution across all channels. This role involves managing distributor operations, leading field sales teams, and ensuring strong in-market presence. The ASM plays a critical role in translating business strategies into actionable plans that deliver results.

Key Responsibilities
Drive achievement of sales targets and KPIs within the assigned territory Partner closely with distributors to strengthen sell-out execution, improve throughput, and maximize off-take at outlet level Manage and develop distributor partnerships to ensure efficient operations and market coverage Lead, coach, and monitor field sales teams to ensure high performance and execution excellence Implement trade marketing programs, promotions, and channel strategies effectively to accelerate sell-out Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and merchandising across outlets to drive consumer purchase Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify sell-out growth opportunities Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain to avoid stock issues and support continuous sell-out Strengthen relationships with key accounts and trade partners Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and trade guidelines
