Field Service & Commissioning Engineer

Key responsibilities

1. Responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, repair, maintenance, and operational support of non-standard automation equipment used in the lithium-battery industry, ensuring that equipment operates normally.
2. Handle various equipment-related problems at customer sites, analyse and summarize root causes, report issues to supervisors, propose reasonable improvement recommendations, coordinate resources to resolve problems efficiently, and ensure projects progress according to schedule.
3. Carry out offline and online equipment optimization, upgrading, and modification. Follow up on field-testing tasks assigned by the R&D department, assist in prototype validation and optimization, and provide timely feedback on related issues and recommendations.
4. Provide equipment-operation and maintenance training to customer personnel to ensure that customer staff can independently operate equipment and perform routine maintenance.
5. Coordinate with Sales, Product, and other relevant departments, communicate customers’ key requirements, maintain good customer relationships, and help improve customer satisfaction. Assist the Sales Department in completing equipment acceptance to ensure that required technical specifications are achieved.
6. Complete other related tasks assigned by management.

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or similar field-based technical role
2. Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve technical issues independently
3. Possess good communication and coordination skills and have on-site experience handling at least two projects.
4. Able to accommodate reasonable overtime when required.
5. Willingness to travel to client sites and work flexible hours when required
6. Valid driving license and reliable personal transport are advantageous
7. Proficiency in language Chinese
