Job Overview

We are seeking a Field Service and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves providing on-site support, performing equipment repairs, and ensuring the optimal functioning of heavy machinery and generators. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with equipment troubleshooting, hydraulics, welding, and basic preventative maintenance. Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heavy equipment to identify necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Perform repairs on various types of equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including lubrication, inspection, and basic preventative maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Refuel generators and other machinery on-site or in the yard to maintain operational readiness.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, repairs performed, and equipment history for record-keeping purposes.
• Utilize skills in hydraulics and welding to repair or modify equipment as needed.
• Assist in maintaining a safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures during all service activities.

Skills

• Troubleshooting and excellent communication.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Skilled in welding techniques suitable for industrial applications. (Will train properly motivated applicant.)
• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance tasks efficiently.
• Good organizational skills for documenting maintenance history accurately.
• Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment issues.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
