Field Service Engineer 3

For our client, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer 3 to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This remote role will focus on advanced field support for complex equipment, with an emphasis on troubleshooting, repair, installation, validation, and maintenance. The position serves as a key customer-facing technical resource and plays an important role in resolving issues quickly, improving service outcomes, and supporting operational continuity. The successful candidate will also coach less experienced engineers and contribute to account-level initiatives that strengthen customer relationships.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,720 – $151,080 annually

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on assigned equipment
• Lead installation, validation, and maintenance efforts for assigned equipment
• Instruct and assist less experienced field engineers while providing coaching
• Act as the primary point of communication for customer-related concerns
• Own customer issues from identification to resolution, engaging the team as necessary
• Participate in team meetings and lead community initiatives for key accounts
• Suggest value-added services to enhance customer efficiency

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with 4+ years of relevant experience
• Equivalent military education and 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• High School Diploma/GED plus 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• Experience in customer interaction as part of service processes
• Proven ability to diagnose and repair electromechanical and electronic equipment
