Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site installation, start-up, and commissioning of front-end automated semiconductor equipment in a fab environment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose equipment faults systematically and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, stability, and uptime.
• Coordinate logistics for equipment installation, maintenance, and repair activities, including the management of spare parts and tools.
• Conduct training for customers’ engineers and technicians on equipment operation and basic maintenance.
• Provide timely technical support and on-site assistance to customers as required.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers while representing the company on-site.
• Ensure compliance with fab safety procedures, cleanroom protocols, and operational requirements.
• Handle and lift equipment and parts when required.
• Be willing and flexible to travel to customer sites as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred. Candidates without prior experience are also welcome to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while demonstrating strong initiative and a proactive attitude.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment-related issues effectively.
• Knowledge of or exposure to semiconductor manufacturing equipment will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment while complying with site safety procedures and operational requirements.
• Willingness to travel overseas, including South Asia, for work assignments, customer support, and training when required.
• Willingness to support operational requirements, including standby duties, overtime, weekend work, public holidays, or shift work when necessary.
