Field Service Engineer

About the role

Responsible for installations, dismantling, responding to service calls, maintenance, calibration and correction/repair of products that the company carries. Be able to offer off-site and on-site after-service technical support solutions. And be able to interact with customers to provide information and procedures to address the inquiries, concerns and requests on products and services. To work with the Sales Team to strategically increase awareness of the company, its' products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Handle Product (Machine/Device) Demonstration to show customers how the product works and to further explain and promote the advantages of the product
• Give Customer Training to explain and give proper instructions to users or operators how the product works and any needed care that must be followed
• Handle Machine Installation by properly planning and giving suggestions to customers as to the layout of the machine/equipment and ensure proper installation procedure is followed according to manufacturer's specifications
• Follow the Preventive Maintenance Schedule to monitor machine performance and be able to analyze, inspect and review findings
• Handle Machine Repairs as after-sales-service support, both online and on-site, by responding to customer requests/complaints, evaluating and resolving problems, and monitoring performance of the machine
• Collect Add-on Sales on repairs/service rendered after preventive maintenance of client has expired
• Build Customer Relationship and stand as the representative of the company, its' mission and values during client meetings, biddings, at conventions and at whatever occasion the company needs to be represented
• Maintain up to date professional and technical knowledge on the products through Continuous Trainings by attending seminars and education workshops
• Provide Accurate Reporting by preparing and submitting timely reports data by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information

About you

• A degree in engineering, technical course or any related course
• Associate degrees combined with vocational training certificates are also accepted
• Good communication and listening skills and effective organizational and presentation skills
• Similar work experience for at least 1 year
• Excellent mechanical and electronics skills
• Good knowledge on computer software and hardware
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Spreadsheet, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Independent and confident with dealing with people and professionals in the medical field
• Willing to work on holidays and weekends and available for emergency / urgent calls
• PRC Licensed (plus point advantage but not required)
