The Opportunity

We’re seeking a full-time Field Service Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane, Qld. In this hands-on role, you’ll provide on-site technical service including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and customer support across a range of laboratory and scientific instruments. Occasional interstate travel is required, as well as international travel for factory training.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical service and support to customers
• Diagnoses and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
• Install and commission new equipment on-site
• Build relationships with customers and support service agreement discussions
• Maintain clear documentation of all service visits and actions taken

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• A qualification in mechanical or electrical/electronic engineering
• Experience servicing scientific or laboratory equipment
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organisational abilities
• A customer-first mindset and a high level of self-motivation
• Proficiency with service reporting systems

Essential Requirements

• Australian residency and full working rights
• A valid Australian driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for factory training.
