Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-oriented Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer locations. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring proper equipment functioning, minimizing downtime, and providing timely technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Install, commission, and configure equipment at customer sites.

Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown servicing.

Diagnose technical faults and carry out troubleshooting and repairs.

Attend customer service calls and resolve issues within the defined timeline.

Conduct equipment inspections and ensure proper functioning.

Maintain service reports, job sheets, maintenance records, and spare-parts usage records.

Coordinate with the service team for technical assistance and spare-parts requirements.

Explain equipment operation and basic maintenance procedures to customers.

Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Travel to customer locations as required.

Maintain good customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related engineering field.

Freshers or experienced candidates may apply, depending on company requirements.

Basic knowledge of troubleshooting, maintenance, and technical documentation.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Valid driving licence preferred, depending on job requirements.
