Field Service Engineer

Imedidate Opening for Field Service Engineers- Solar company with Good salary, Attractive Allowances and Inecntives

Location- Coimbatore

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming customer calls, queries, and solar service requests professionally.
• Coordinate with service engineers to resolve customer complaints and technical issues.
• Follow up on rooftop solar plant performance, inverter issues, and service requests.
• Schedule service visits and ensure timely communication with customers.
• Maintain customer records, call logs, service updates, and follow-up details in CRM.
• Collect customer feedback, reviews, and referrals after service completion.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and warranty-related service requests.
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfactory resolution of complaints.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the concerned technical or service department.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on customer calls, service requests, pending issues, and closures.

Qualification & Experience

• Diploma or B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE).
• 1–3 years of experience in solar service, electrical service, customer support, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of rooftop solar systems and inverter operations.
• Experience handling customer complaints and coordinating technical support is preferred.

Required Skills

• Good customer-handling and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of rooftop solar PV systems and inverters.
• Ability to coordinate with field service engineers and internal teams.
• Knowledge of CRM systems, MS Excel, and basic computer operations.
• Ability to manage customer follow-ups and service records.
• Must have a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence.
• Must have a smartphone for work-related communication and reporting.
• Good communication skills in Tamil and English.
