About the Role

We are seeking fresh or having 1 year experienced Field Service Engineer to join our technical support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, and repair of wide-format digital printing equipment, vinyl plotters, CNC routers, and laser cutting systems.

The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation & Commissioning: Perform on-site installation, assembly, alignment, and initial setup of Mimaki and Chinese digital printers, laser systems, and CNC routers.
• Maintenance & Repair: Execute routine preventative maintenance and urgent field repairs on mechanical, electrical, electronic, fluidic/ink, and pneumatic sub-systems.
• Printhead & Ink System Service: Calibrate, align, and service industrial printheads (e.g., Epson, Ricoh, Konica Minolta, Kyocera) and maintain meniscus/negative pressure systems and ink delivery lines.
• Laser & Router Calibration: Install, align optics/focus lenses, calibrate controllers, and service CO2/Fiber/UV laser systems and CNC router spindles, gantry alignments, and drive systems.
• Color Management & Software: Configure RIP software (SAi Flexi, Onyx, Caldera, Mimaki RasterLink), set up pass/feed calibrations, and assist clients with color profiles/linearization.
• Customer Support & Training: Provide technical training to client operators on equipment operation, basic maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Documentation & Inventory: Maintain accurate service reports, log customer technical tickets, and manage spare parts recommendations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Technical Experience: Fresh or 1 year experience
• Digital Printers & Plotters: Mimaki (JV/UCJV/UJF/JFX series) and Chinese Eco-Solvent, UV Flatbed, DTF, and Sublimation printers.
• Laser Systems: Chinese Fiber & CO2 Laser cutting/marking equipment.
• CNC Routers: 3-axis industrial CNC routers and cutting plotters (Graphtec, Roland, or Chinese brands).
• Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of MS Office, Windows ,IOS
• Diagnostic Skills: Excellent ability to read electronic schematics, troubleshoot PCB boards, sensors, servo/stepper motors, power supplies, and pneumatic systems.
• Driver’s License: Valid UAE Driving License is required (field travel involved).
• Languages: Fluency in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of Hindi/Urdu is a plus.
