Field Service Engineer (Electrical / Mechatronics/ Electronics)

• Position: Field Service Engineer (Electrical / Mechatronics / Machinery)
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Working Hours: 5 days work week, 40 hours per week
• Salary (commensurate with experience): MYR 6,800 Basic Salary + Company-Provided Accommodation + Meals + Transportation + Overseas Training in China + Safety Shoes
• Duration: 15-Month Contract (Inclusive of 3 Months Training in Dongguan, China)
• Industry: Industrial Machinery / Manufacturing Equipment / Engineering Services

Main Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance for corrugator systems.
• Perform installation, commissioning, start-up and optimization of machinery.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and operational issues.
• Install, configure and maintain hardware, software and network-related equipment where required.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate with remote support teams and vendors.
• Support production operations and minimize equipment downtime.
• Train customer operators and maintenance personnel on equipment usage and maintenance.
• Prepare service reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, security and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of engineering, technical support, maintenance or field service experience.
• Experience in machinery installation, maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings, manuals and engineering specifications.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies and service management systems.
• Possess a valid driving license.
• Willing to travel and support emergency, weekend or holiday assignments when required.
