Field Service Engineer (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

Ked Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join our growing team in Penang Island, Penang. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for our clients' cleaning equipment and systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our products, contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of cleaning equipment and systems
2. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and implement effective solutions
3. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to prevent downtime
4. Provide technical support and training to clients on the proper use and care of our cleaning machine
5. Maintain detailed records of all service activities and equipment performance
6. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement process improvements
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer or in a similar role
3. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members
6. Willingness to travel to customer sites (regional & overseas) and work flexible hours as needed
7. Able to communicate in English, Malay and Chinese (is a must to liaise with China counterpart)
