Field Service Engineering trainee

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You will participate in comprehensive training programs to learn about Hitachi products, systems, and service procedures.
• You will assist experienced Field Service Engineers with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of Hitachi equipment at customer sites.
• You will support routine preventative maintenance activities and perform diagnostic checks on various systems.
• You will shadow and learn from senior engineers during complex troubleshooting and repair operations.
• You will document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and problem resolutions.
• You will adhere to all safety protocols and company policies while working in the field.
• You will develop a strong understanding of customer needs and contribute to delivering exceptional service.
• You will continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and product updates.
• You will travel to various customer locations as required.
• You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field) or equivalent technical certification.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
• A strong desire to learn and grow within a technical field service role.
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles.
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment (training will be provided).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to travel extensively.
• Prior internship or relevant technical experience is a plus.
