Field Service / Install & Repair Technician

Job Purpose:

• The Field Service / Install & Repair Technician at HILLIARY COMMUNICATIONS LLC is responsible for providing high-quality telecommunications services to our clients. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install telecommunications equipment and systems at customer locations, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Diagnose and repair faults in telecommunications systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring efficient service restoration.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of telecommunications equipment to prevent potential issues and ensure long-term reliability.
• Provide technical support and guidance to customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and accessible.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in telecommunications technology to enhance service quality and efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while performing field operations.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in telecommunications or a related field is preferred.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in field service, installation, or repair within the telecommunications industry.
• Proven track record of working with telecommunications equipment and systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong understanding of telecommunications systems, including fiber optics, coaxial cables, and wireless technology.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
