Field Service Representative (FSR) – Sonar Systems

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) to provide technical support, maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering assistance for advanced naval sonar systems deployed on military vessels. The successful candidate will be based in Jeddah and will support mission-critical equipment maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational availability and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting of sonar systems and associated equipment.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Support repair, replacement, calibration, tuning, and alignment of hardware and software components.
• Utilize test equipment and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, reports, and technical documentation.
• Assist with spare parts inventory management and tracking.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, maintenance procedures, and quality requirements.
• Support engineering activities and annual maintenance planning efforts.
• Collaborate with customer representatives and technical teams in a multicultural environment.

Requirements

• Diploma or higher qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sonar systems maintenance, naval systems support, underwater acoustic systems, or equivalent defense technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Towed Sonar Systems or related naval sensor systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding experience across hardware and software components.
• Experience using test and measurement equipment for calibration, alignment, and diagnostics.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, maintenance procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Previous experience in defense, naval, maritime, shipbuilding, or military environments is highly preferred.
• Former Navy personnel with sonar operation or maintenance experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of underwater acoustic systems and anti-submarine warfare technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and support operational requirements when needed.
• Experience working within multicultural and matrix organizations.

Language Requirements

• Fluent English communication skills.
• French is an advantage.
• Arabic and Spanish are a plus.

Pay: From ﷼25,000.00 per month
