Yamaha Motor New Zealand is seeking a motivated and professional Field Service Representative to support our dealer network and uphold Yamaha’s industry‑leading service standards.

About the Role

As a key member of the Yamaha Service team, you will provide Technical Service Support and training to our dealer network, ensuring consistent service quality and outstanding customer experience across your assigned territory. This role combines technical expertise, dealer development, field support, and strong communication skills.

You will work both autonomously and collaboratively, representing Yamaha during dealer visits, at events, and customer engagements while supporting internal teams with service, warranty, and product performance insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Dealer Support & Development
• Conduct scheduled dealer visits in line with Yamaha guidelines and the Yamaha Dealer Operations Manual.
• Ensure dealer compliance with NZTA PDI Requirements
• Ensure dealer service departments meet Yamaha’s operational and corporate standards.
• Assist dealers in improving service processes, customer experience, and departmental performance.
• Review aftersales metrics including service retention, efficiency, and profitability; provide improvement recommendations.
• Complete DRM dealer ratings and visit reports promptly.
• Review dealer staff training levels and liaise with the Training Department as required.
• Promote YTA Technician Training to Dealer Principals and encourage technician participation.
• Deliver and or assist with in‑house technical training for technicians and Service Managers when required.

• Current driver’s licence, motorcycle licence, and passport

 The role will require monthly travel within NZ.  A salary commensurate with the position will be offered, as well as a company-maintained vehicle.
