The Role

This is a specialist field-based role working with autonomous, remote-control, machine-control, positioning, communications and software systems.

You’ll install, commission, configure and troubleshoot technology in the field, support site network deployment and calibration, and provide practical technical guidance and training to customers.

You’ll also be involved in new and emerging autonomy solutions as Aptella continues to expand its technology portfolio.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

You bring:

  • Experience in a technical, field service, machine control, auto electrical, survey, communications or similar environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence reading technical schematics and following installation drawings
  • Good computer literacy and confidence working with software and diagnostic systems
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely when required
  • Current unrestricted Driver’s Licence
  • Construction White Card
  • Willingness to travel nationally and work on remote sites and approved rosters

A recognised trade qualification is preferred but not essential. Experience across survey, machine control, auto electrical or related technical environments will be highly regarded.

HR Licence, EWP and Working at Heights qualifications will also be advantageous.

Why Join Aptella?

Join a growing technology business working at the forefront of autonomy, positioning and remote-control solutions.

You’ll gain exposure to advanced and emerging technology while working alongside experienced technical, support and product teams.

What You’ll Get

  • Hands-on exposure to autonomy and remote-control technology
  • Ongoing technical, product and vendor training
  • Career development in a rapidly evolving technology space
  • Varied field-based work across customer and project sites
  • Support from experienced technical specialists
  • Flare discounts and wellbeing benefits
  • Discounted gym memberships and health insurance
