Advatech Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Field Service Technician, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional service to our clients, ensuring that equipment and systems operate at peak performance. Your role is crucial to maintaining customer satisfaction and supporting the continued success of Advatech Industries, Inc. in the competitive trades and services sector.

What you'll be doing

• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical faults in equipment and systems at customer sites
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Install, repair and maintain various types of equipment and systems according to technical specifications and safety standards
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency requests from customers
• Document all service work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, solutions and costs associated with repairs or maintenance
• Maintain and transport tools and equipment safely between job sites
• Collaborate with the support team to escalate complex technical issues when necessary
• Keep up to date with product knowledge and technical advancements relevant to the role

What we're looking for

• A relevant technical qualification or certification in a trades-related field, such as mechanical or electrical
• Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or in a similar technical role within the trades and services industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment
• A valid driver's licence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical customers
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in varied environments, including confined spaces and at high elevation when necessary
• A commitment to safety protocols and best practices in all work undertaken
• Organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple service calls efficiently
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime or after-hours calls as required
