Field Service Technician

• Achieves expected productivity levels associated with assigned workload and level of e xp erience. Demonstrates technical expertise and provides specialist services.

• Performs a full range of servicing and repair service procedures including diagnostics, installation, removal and retrofits

on a core set of Meyn equipment.

• Interacts with external customers for the purpose of determining service needs on equipment and ensuring overall high

level of c ustomer satisfaction with the service performed.

• Serves as a role model and exhibits professional appearance and behavior at all times, under the most difficult situations.

• Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner.

• Assists on training new hires and customer maintenance personnel.

• Acts as the liaison between the customer / plant personnel, c ontractors on the job and Meyn management by keeping good communications (written and verbal) among the groups.

• Works closely with sales partners to maximize equipment leads and upgrade opportunities .

• Proactively seeks ways to improve things. Recommends machine improvement ideas and suggestions for continuous product improvement.

• Assists Site Manager with planning installs and rebuilds .

• Works with customer support on adjustment manuals and updating trouble-shooting guides.

• Observes all safety , quality and other company rules and regulations in the performance of duties

• Promote teamwo rk by performing tasks and sharing responsibilities of other members of the Department during peak periods or when there is an overload of duties. ;
