Field Service Technician

About the role

This role involves responding to equipment faults onsite and performing maintenance work. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and conducting corrective and preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate documentation and records.

Key responsibilities

• Response to all equipment faults arriving onsite at equipment location within 10 minutes of receiving notification
• Update Assistant Team Leader / Team Leader for major faults per SOP
• Conduct preventive maintenance per checklist and schedule
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance for minor equipment faults
• Comply with CAG and Leidos WSH (Workplace Safety & Health) regulations
• Report any unsafe acts / environment to Service Manager immediately
• Provide completed service reports to fault attended
• Conduct tools check before start work and attend tool box meeting before start work
• Update event logs / database for all equipment faults and maintain Service Record VBA or Leidos CRM
• Perform daily admin tasks including machine reports generation and TIP report generation

About you

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Mechanical/Electronics/Electrical Engineering
• Ability to use Schematics Diagram for troubleshooting
• Good understanding of computers, operating systems and network knowledge
• Team player with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Great verbal and written communication skills
• Good customer service skill
• Class 3 driving license (Not Class 3A)
• Willing to work in dirty, hot and humid environment, as & when due to onsite condition
