POSITION INFO: About the Role Our client, a leading provider of office automation solutions, is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join their technical team in Bethlehem. This role is responsible for providing high-quality onsite support, hardware maintenance, and logical troubleshooting for a diverse range of client devices to ensure optimal operational efficiency and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform onsite servicing and logical troubleshooting on a wide range of client devices, including high-volume printers and copiers. Execute IT-related troubleshooting and software support, including firmware updates and device installations. Conduct regular preventative maintenance (PM) services to reduce device failure and ensure adherence to scheduled maintenance plans. Manage and maintain accurate boot stock of toners and spares, ensuring monthly reconciliations are completed. Ensure all service calls are resolved within the agreed-upon Service Level Agreement (SLA). Accurately document all work and submit job sheets through the mobile technician application. Work independently to diagnose hardware and software issues using technical manuals, particularly when working in remote areas. Requirements Minimum Grade 12 Qualification. A valid Driver's License is essential. Minimum of two years' experience within the office automation industry. Proven experience in a field service environment, specifically working with printers and copiers. Strong networking knowledge and an understanding of software integration. Experience with high-volume devices is considered a significant advantage. Excellent communication skills for interacting with both clients and management. Strong time management skills and the ability to work effectively without direct supervision.
