Field Service Technician

PRIME-X is looking for an Automation Field Service Technician!

We are expanding our technical network and looking for an experienced Automation Field Service Technician to join our team for industrial automation projects in the U.S.

This is a field-based position with extensive travel, working directly at customer and project sites. We are looking for technicians with strong hands-on experience in industrial automation, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and equipment service.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, field service, installation, or commissioning
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
• Experience with installation, commissioning, startup, maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Familiarity with industrial robots and PLC interfaces is a plus (FANUC, KUKA, ABB, Rockwell, Siemens)
• English level: B1 or higher, sufficient for communication with customers, supervisors, and project teams.
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to travel extensively, including short-notice travel
• Immediate availability
• Valid authorization to work in the U.S. — TN visa/status required
• Experience with rigging, forklift operation, or industrial safety training is also a plus.
