Field Service Technician

Conduct servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of generator sets (gensets) and related equipment.

Perform inspection, testing, and evaluation of gensets to ensure proper and reliable operation.

Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities at client sites.

Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar power systems and other renewable energy equipment.

Troubleshoot basic mechanical, electrical, and solar system issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

Conduct site visits and technical assessments for genset and solar system requirements.

Coordinate with clients regarding technical concerns, service schedules, and site requirements.

Prepare accurate service reports, inspection reports, and other technical documentation after each service activity.

Work closely with the Sales and Project teams to support technical requirements, site assessments, installations, and after-sales service.

Ensure proper use and care of tools, equipment, and company property.

Follow all company safety policies and proper safety procedures during field and site activities.

Qualifications:

With experience in electrical, mechanical, genset, or solar/renewable energy works.

At least 1 year of experience as a Field Service Technician or in a related technical field.

Willing to perform field work and site visits.

With valid driver’s license.

Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

Basic knowledge of solar power systems is an advantage.

Can work under minimal supervision.

Computer literate.

Good communication and troubleshooting skills.

Willing to travel to client sites as required.
