Field Service Technician

What you'll do:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for traveling to customers’ facilities and providing maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, and service support to ensure the effective operation of Hoosier Feeder products.

• Travel to customer facilities across the US to provide service support for new and existing products. (Occasional international travel may be required)
• Act as a company representative ensuring customer concerns and requests are met
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in the field
• Install new equipment and provide user training when required
• Read and utilize machine drawings including electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams
• Safely utilize and maintain tools and power equipment
• Complete service reports and coordinate with office manager to complete jobs
• Provide quality and process improvement feedback to manufacturing team

What you'll need:

• Flexibility regarding working hours and a desire to travel extensively required
• Proven technical capabilities in installing, servicing, and maintaining equipment
• Experience with TIG welding
• Light fabrication skills
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with customers
• Reliable, self-starter with critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
