Field Service Technician

Sonshine Enterprises is looking for a motivated and self-driven individual to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Field Service Technician. Sonshine Enterprises is a family owned business of more than 30 years that specializes in service and installation of commercial beverage equipment across the Midwest.

Our technicians build strong relationships with our customers while working on specialized equipment. We are looking for employees that are willing to be trained and hungry to learn a trade with a desire to succeed. Responsibilities Include:

• Drive a company vehicle to customer locations and repair, install or perform preventative maintenance on commercial beverage equipment
• Interact and provide top notch customer service with our customers
• Keep inventory on vehicle
• Report all actions on a per job basis
• Ensure that beverage machines dispense beverages according to specific quality, conformity standards and functionality
• Educate customer on proper maintenance procedures to minimize equipment problems

Requirements Include:

• Work schedule is Sunday - Thursday
• An outgoing, positive, and team-oriented personality
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortability with technology
• Ability to lift/carry up to 100 pounds
• Mechanically inclined and high degree of technical aptitude
• Basic knowledge of plumbing and electrical is essential
• Outstanding organizational skills
• Demonstrated self-motivated and self-directed ability
• Ability to tolerate prolonged driving when necessary
• Possess a clean DMV driving record
• Occasional work on weekends
• High school diploma or equivalent
