What You’ll Do

Provide high-level support for alarm control panels, IP/analog security camera networks, NVRs/DVRs, and access control systems.

• Walk clients step-by-step through mobile app software (e.g., Alarm.com, Resideo Total Connect), user permissions, port forwarding, and connectivity fixes.

2. Panel Modernization & Commission Earnings

• Evaluate existing legacy customer systems over the phone or via site diagnostics to determine modernization needs.
• Recommending and selling system panel upgrades, cellular communicator transitions, and additional IP camera coverage to generate lucrative commission payouts.
• Remotely program, configure, and commission upgraded alarm panels, communicators, and smart hardware.

3. Job Evaluation & Field Coordination

• Assess complex technical jobs prior to dispatching field teams to ensure correct parts, wiring schematics, and hardware are allocated.
• Direct field technicians through complex on-site camera alignments, network switches, and panel takeovers.

What We Are Looking For

• Alarm Industry Experience (Required): Minimum 5+ years of hands-on low-voltage field or tech-support experience with major alarm brands (Honeywell/Resideo, DSC, Qolsys, 2GIG, Interlogix, DMP, or Bosch).
• Technical Mastery: You must speak "Alarm"—if you know the difference between a hardwired zone expansion, a wireless mesh network, and an IP port-forwarding issue, we want to talk to you.
• Camera & Network Expertise: Deep knowledge of IP/Analog camera setup, PoE switches, NVR configuration, and remote video feeds.
• Software Familiarity: Experience with alarm interactive platforms (Alarm.com, Total Connect) and central station monitoring software is highly preferred.
• Evaluation & Communication: Strong verbal ability to evaluate customer systems, explain technical concepts simply, and comfortably offer upgrade solutions.
