Field Service Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver? Have you worked in military maintenance, equipment repair, electronics, electrical systems, or industrial machinery? Your experience could be a great fit for this role.

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial scanning and camera equipment at customer locations.

This is a field-based position with approximately 85% travel.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, network, and software issues.
• Read electrical schematics and use hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Conduct site surveys and equipment inspections.
• Complete service and expense reports.
• Follow all safety and customer site requirements.
• Work independently while knowing when to escalate more complex issues.
• Build strong, professional relationships with customers.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school, Associate degree, or military technical training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, military maintenance, electronics, electrical, automation, or technical repair preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with computers.
• Basic understanding of computer networks.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.

Helpful Experience

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Industrial automation or controls
• PLCs
• Ethernet/IP, PROFINET, PROFIBUS, or DeviceNet
• Electronics and electrical equipment
• Industrial cameras or barcode scanners
• Manufacturing or warehouse equipment

Travel & Schedule

• Approximately 85% travel
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Occasional weekend, evening, or overnight service work may be required.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
