Description: Field Service Coordinator (Experienced)

Location: Spartanburg, SC

Job Type: Full-Time | 1st Shift

Pay: $25.00/hr + Plus (DOE)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Coordinator to lead and coordinate all technical service activities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, managing complex troubleshooting requests, in-mill service operations, and machine-related projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, supervise, and prioritize work for Field Service Engineers to ensure safe and efficient operations

Serve as the primary customer contact for technical support, service scheduling, and issue resolution

Coordinate service assignments in partnership with the Head of Field Service

Manage complex troubleshooting cases and provide advanced technical guidance

Create and oversee service reports, material orders, and project timelines

Adjust priorities quickly based on customer needs and operational demands

Communicate solutions, trends, and best practices across teams

Support administrative functions including time sheets, expense reporting, and invoicing

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training strongly preferred

10+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, or textile industries

Proven experience coordinating or leading field service teams

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in technical environments

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience preferred

Excellent communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred, German a plus

Ability to work independently while leading cross-functional collaboration

Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs

Willingness to work overtime as needed

Ability to travel long distances

Valid U.S. driver’s license required
