**Field Service Technician (Electrical)**We’re looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to join a growing field service team. This is a hands-on role responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a diverse range of commercial equipment at customer sites.

You’ll play an important role in delivering reliable equipment performance, excellent customer service, and quality repairs — ideally getting equipment back up and running on the first visit.

 This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a varied field-based role with exposure to a broad range of commercial equipment.

What you’ll do

• Service and maintain a portfolio of commercial equipment in the field.
• Provide a high level of customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
• Complete preventative maintenance within required timeframes.
• Diagnose and repair equipment, with a focus on first-time-fix outcomes.
• Complete quality assurance and preventative maintenance activities.
• Support project and installation work as required.
• Provide feedback to the service team to identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Manage parts effectively to support efficient repairs.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, service processes and company standards.
• Accurately use relevant IT and service management systems.
• Contribute positively to the wider field service team.
• Maintain and develop your technical knowledge and skills.

Equipment you may work with:

The role will involve servicing a range of commercial equipment, potentially including:

• Glass-door refrigeration units
• Air curtain coolers
• Beverage dispensing equipment
• Vending machines
• Frozen beverage equipment
• Commercial coffee machines
• Connected/refrigeration technology

About you

You’ll be a technically capable, customer-focused technician who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• An Electrical or Refrigeration Trade Qualification.
• Experience in field service, equipment maintenance or a similar technical environment.
• Strong electrical and/or refrigeration knowledge.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with beverage dispensing, vending, refrigeration, frozen beverage or coffee equipment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of parts management and inventory processes.
• A strong understanding of Workplace Health & Safety.
• Good computer and systems skills.
• The ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A commitment to completing work safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
