Field Service Technician (Electro-Mechanical)

Alpha CNC Philippines is hiring a Field Service Technician (Electromachanical) who can handle basic electrical work, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial machinery, especially CNC equipment. This is a field-based role with regular travel to client sites nationwide and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and test CNC machine tools, including:

  • CNC Machining Centers
  • CNC Lathes
  • CNC Routers
  • CNC Fiber Laser Cutting Machines
  • CNC Press Brakes

• Perform electrical wiring, machine setup, and system commissioning.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and CNC control system faults.

• Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components, including motors, sensors, servo systems, limit switches, relays, contactors, and control devices.

• Perform preventive maintenance, machine inspections, calibration, and alignment to ensure optimum machine performance.

• Respond promptly to customer service calls and machine breakdowns, providing efficient onsite technical support.

• Install machine accessories, upgrades, and replacement parts as required.

• Train customers on proper machine operation, routine maintenance, and safe operating procedures.

• Maintain company tools, test equipment, and spare parts inventory.

• Follow company safety standards and represent Alpha CNC professionally at all customer sites.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in electrical systems & basic wiring
• Experience in industrial machinery (CNC, automation, manufacturing equipment preferred)
• Can read basic electrical diagrams and use diagnostic tools (multimeter, etc.)
• Willing to travel and work on field assignments across the Phippines and occasionally overseas.
• TESDA NC II/III graduates (Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial) are encouraged
• Advantage: Experience in machine repair, mechanical/electrical troubleshooting
