Field Service Technician (JB)

• Provide technical support and service for barcode equipment, including printers and scanners, at customer sites.
• Handle equipment installation, repair, maintenance, preventive maintenance and testing, both on-site and in-house.
• Coordinate and manage the daily service schedule.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes and provide suitable solutions.
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical recommendations and briefings.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with customers.
• Prepare and submit timely service reports.
• Promote and propose service contracts to customers.
• Prepare and submit quotations based on customer requirements.
• Visit customer sites to gather information on competitors, equipment, software and existing company printer models.
• Install and configure printer drivers and software, and provide technical support to customers.

Requirements :

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good customer service attitude and willing to assist customers.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Possess own transportation and willing to travel to customer sites.
• Travel and standby allowances provided.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
