Job Overview

As a Field Service Technician – MIDWEST, you’ll travel to customer sites to install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial equipment. You’ll work hands-on with electrical, mechanical, and control systems while delivering responsive customer service.

The ideal candidate will be open to travel and live within a reasonable distance of a major airport.

Duties

• Diagnose and repair equipment using electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and equipment troubleshooting methods.
• Maintain and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems, industrial controls, sensors, and electrical instrumentation.
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) to support safe, accurate work.
• Use precision measuring instruments, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to test, calibrate, and verify equipment.
• Your impact: Reliable field service helps customers restore equipment operation and keep manufacturing processes moving.

Experience

• Essential: Field service, industrial maintenance, equipment maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, and safe work practices, including electrical safety procedures.
• Preferred: Industrial electrician experience; E & I (electrical and instrumentation); programmable logic controllers (PLCs); industrial automation; distributed control systems; CNC (computer numerical control); high- and low-voltage systems; and engineering troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with programming in engineering, AutoCAD, Calypso, or vision inspection systems is an asset.
• Manufacturing experience or military experience is welcome; bring a customer-focused approach and readiness to travel to customer sites.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
