Field Services Engineer

Position: Field Service Engineer

We're looking for talented professionals to help support the growth of our client a German based company providing power electronics and smart factories solutions.

Summary

You will be responsible for supporting customers by ensuring stable machine operation, assisting with new equipment installations, improving customer production capabilities, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• Install, start up, maintain, and retrofit industrial laser equipment.
• Provide on-site customer training.
• Diagnose equipment failures, analyze root causes, and perform repairs.
• Implement performance improvement projects and software updates.
• Communicate with customers both on-site and remotely (phone/email）

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience as a field engineer, maintenance technician, mechanic, etc.
• hands on experience using diagnostic tools, tester and measuring devices
• Business level Japanese and ability to communicate effectively with customers.
