Field Services Engineer

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Service Area Manager, installs, maintains, and repairs Werfen-marketed instruments across Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Incheon, and Jeju.

Key Accountabilities

• Installation of instruments at customer site
• Preventive maintenance of equipment
• After service to customers
• Instructing customers in the proper operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of systems.
• Technical support to customers by phone when needed
• Keeping up to date with all corporate service information and updates
• Inspection of received equipment
• Compliance with all related regulatory requirements.
• Service parts stock control
• Maintenance of service statistics in SAP
• Preparation of service reports
• Coordination with HelpLine, marketing and sales departments
• Provision of feedback related to customers to rest of company departments

Networking/Key relationships

To be determined based on department needs, to include interactions such as:

• ACDx BU Team
• Hemostasis & Transfusion BU Team
• AID BU Team
• LDx Sales Team
• QARA Team

Minimum Knowledge & Experience required for the position:

• Education:

• Engineering-related major

• Electrical and electronic engineering majors preferred

• Experience:

• More than 3 years of technical service experience in in-vitro diagnostic field preferred

• Additional Skills/Knowledge:

• Driver's license

• English reading and speaking proficiency required
