🔧 Mechanical Field Service Engineer | Milford, UT | Per Diem Available

Spencer Ogden is seeking an experienced Mechanical Field Service Engineer to support a major power generation commissioning project in Milford, UT . This is an excellent opportunity to work hands-on with a leading OEM, supporting the installation, startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical mechanical equipment at a power generation facility.

What You'll Do

• Support mechanical installation, startup, and commissioning activities for power generation equipment.
• Perform inspections, troubleshooting, testing, and field repairs on mechanical systems.
• Work closely with commissioning teams, contractors, and plant personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Review technical documentation, drawings, and procedures to ensure successful equipment installation and operation.
• Provide field engineering support throughout commissioning, startup, and project closeout.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with site procedures and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of mechanical field service, commissioning, startup, or power generation experience.
• Experience working on gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, pumps, rotating equipment, or other heavy industrial mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Experience supporting outage, commissioning, or startup projects in power plants, industrial facilities, or EPC environments.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and technical manuals.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work in a fast-paced field environment.
