Field Superintendent

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Field Superintendent to lead construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day operations, supervising crews, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all work aligns with project specifications and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to construction management, possess excellent leadership skills, and demonstrate a thorough understanding of heavy civil or commercial construction processes. Duties

• Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely completion of project milestones while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or Procore to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to verify accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
• Manage daily site operations, including safety inspections in compliance with OSHA and federal safety regulations, enforcing strict safety protocols across all activities.
• Oversee procurement, budgeting, and cost control measures using tools like HeavyBid or Prolog to ensure projects stay within financial targets.
• Conduct regular site inspections for quality control, progress tracking, and adherence to construction schedules; address issues promptly to minimize delays.
• Facilitate clear communication among project stakeholders by managing contracts, change orders, and documentation efficiently while supervising teams in a construction management role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in heavy civil or commercial projects.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, Prolog, HeavyBid, and related tools.
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and construction estimating techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively while supervising multiple crews on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project coordination, and site safety regulations including OSHA standards.
• Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to coordinate schedules and supervise subcontractors efficiently.
• Familiarity with managing contracts, budgets, quality control processes, and construction regulations at federal or state levels.
• Valid experience in managing construction safety programs and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
