  • Deliver projects on schedule and within budget while maintaining AAW quality standards.
  • Work closely with Project Managers to fulfill project specifications.

  • Ensure crews follow standard work and established AAW processes and procedures.
  • Use the necessary computer programs to process project paperwork.

Field Leadership and Crew Development

  • Schedule and oversee jobsite personnel and subcontractors.
  • Work hands-on with the crew, installing material and fostering team development.
  • Observe work procedures to confirm installers are competent and knowledgeable.
  • Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor activity and plan ahead.

Safety

  • Conduct weekly Tool Box Talks and any necessary jobsite training.
  • Review and enforce safety requirements and policies with all field personnel.
  • Uphold safety rules and regulations and foster a safe working environment.

Problem Solving and Quality

  • Lead field troubleshooting, including layout issues and punch list management.
  • Handle on-site issues, make decisions, and develop solutions proactively.
  • Provide constructive feedback and documentation to help improve our fabrication processes.

Procurement and Logistics

  • Manage procurement and delivery of fabricated materials and supplies in alignment with available manpower.
  • Obtain information from general contractors, clients, and colleagues as needed.

Communication and Client Satisfaction

  • Act as the liaison between office and field personnel.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and colleagues.
  • Attend jobsite meetings as required.
  • Prioritize and maintain a high level of client satisfaction through every stage of the project.

Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain daily logs and Fieldwire reporting.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

  • Proven experience driving projects to completion, preferably in glass and glazing, curtain wall, or a related construction trade.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, blueprints, and architectural and structural drawings.
  • Strong communication skills in person, by phone, and by email.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with coworkers and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work assignments for maximum efficiency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Results-driven, with a high standard of ethics and integrity.
  • A collaborative, team-first attitude committed to AAW's success.
  • A professional appearance and demeanor as a representative of AAW.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Own tools.

Preferred

  • Experience with Fieldwire or similar field management software.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
  • Prior experience supervising crews or subcontractors.

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for extended periods and traverse rough terrain.
  • Climb ladders, reach, and bend.
