Field Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management: Supervise daily field activities, including harvesting, weeding, fertilization, pest/disease control and general plantation maintenance.

Staff Supervision: Manage and monitor the performance of field workers (harvesters, sprayers, and general laborers), ensuring daily work targets are met.

Yield Monitoring: Conduct regular field inspections to ensure ripe fresh fruit bunches (FFB) are harvested correctly and that no loose fruit is left behind.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate daily records of attendance, output (tonnage), and material usage (fertilizer/chemicals) to the estate office.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure all workers strictly adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, environmental health and safety (EHS) guidelines and MSPO standards.

Issue Identification: Identify and report issues such as pest outbreaks, drainage problems, or equipment failures to the Manager immediately.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Agriculture, Plantation Management, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience in oil palm plantation operations.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to supervise a diverse workforce.
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in a remote plantation environment.
• Proficiency in local language and basic record-keeping.
