FIELD SUPERVISOR

We are looking for a hands-on and organised Field Supervisor to coordinate daily farm activities and ensure that field operations are carried out efficiently and according to established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of farm workers.
• Assign tasks and monitor workers' attendance, productivity, and performance.
• Ensure planting, weeding, fertilising, spraying, irrigation, harvesting, and other activities are completed according to schedule.
• Work closely with the Agronomist to implement recommended farming practices.
• Monitor the condition of crops and report issues promptly.
• Ensure proper use and care of farm tools, equipment, and materials.
• Maintain daily records of field activities, labour, inputs, and output.
• Enforce farm safety and operational procedures.
• Report progress, challenges, and resource requirements to management.
• Ensure the farm is kept organised, productive, and properly maintained.

Requirements

• HND/Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in farm supervision or agricultural operations.
• Practical knowledge of farm operations.
• Previous experience supervising farm workers.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in an outdoor/farm environment.
