Field Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced, dependable, and highly organized Field Supervisor to oversee some day-to-day operations of our growing home health/home care agency.

The Field Supervisor will be responsible for supervising caregivers while also performing important office functions. This position will serve as a key point of contact between clients, caregivers, office staff and referral partners.

The ideal candidate can solve problems quickly, maintain high standards of service, and ensure that agency policies and applicable regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

Caregiver & Field Supervision

• Supervise and support caregivers on a daily basis.
• Ensure caregivers understand and follow client service plans, agency policies, and professional standards.
• Monitor caregiver attendance, punctuality, performance, professionalism, and reliability.
• Conduct caregiver and client check-ins, supervisory visits, and performance evaluations as required.
• Address caregiver complaints, performance concerns, call-offs, and staffing issues promptly.
• Maintain strong communication with field staff and ensure they have the support needed to provide quality care.

Client & Family Services

• Serve as a primary contact for clients and their families regarding service and staffing concerns.
• Follow up on client complaints, concerns, and satisfaction.
• Help coordinate new client onboarding and ensure appropriate caregiver coverage.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure clients receive the services authorized and scheduled.
• Conduct or coordinate client visits and quality-assurance follow-ups as required.
• Respond to call-offs, late arrivals, schedule changes, and emergency staffing needs.
• Coordinate caregiver replacements and coverage when necessary.
• Monitor missed visits, service gaps, and scheduling problems.
• Ensure accurate communication between the office, caregivers, clients, and families.
• Maintain accurate employee, client, and operational records.
• Assist with caregiver recruitment, interviews, hiring, onboarding, and orientation.
• Ensure required employee documentation, credentials, training records, and files are maintained.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in home health, home care, healthcare, caregiving, staffing, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Comfortable working in both an office and field environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, scheduling systems, and electronic documentation.
• Must maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism when dealing with clients, families, and employees.
• A valid driver's license is required for field visits.
• Bilingual Skills are a plus

We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, compassionate, accountable, and hands-on. The right person should be comfortable moving between office responsibilities and field operations, managing multiple priorities, supporting caregivers, and resolving client issues professionally.

Compensation: $[19–20] per hour, depending on experience.
