Field Technician

Job Overview

Duties

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances, refrigeration units, and mechanical equipment according to schematics and technical manuals.
• Diagnose issues using schematics, technical diagrams, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot electrical, appliance problems on-site with precision and professionalism.
• Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex projects or installations in construction environments.
• Document all service activities thoroughly, including detailed reports on repairs performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations during all service procedures.

Experience

• Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair, or refrigeration is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
• Hands-on experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide junior technicians or coordinate team efforts effectively.
• Prior work in construction or industrial environments is a plus for understanding diverse job sites.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
