Field Technician

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Field Technician to join our team servicing a variety of mine sites throughout the Goldfields and wider Western Australia.

This is a varied, hands-on role that provides the opportunity to develop new skills across several specialised areas, including:

• Exhaust Emission Testing of underground mining equipment.
• Self-Rescuer testing and servicing.
• Field-based testing and inspection activities.
• Data collection, reporting and client documentation.

The role involves working across surface workshops and underground mine environments, as well as travelling to various mine sites. Overnight stays in mine site camps will be a regular part of the position.

For candidates based in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, we can offer flexible roster arrangements where operational requirements allow.

About You

You don't need extensive industry experience to apply. Full training and all necessary qualifications will be provided.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Motivated, reliable and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team.
• Confident working in underground and surface mining environments.
• Prepared for regular travel and overnight stays.
• Professional and able to communicate effectively with clients and site personnel.
• Organised and capable of completing accurate records and reports.

Essential Requirements

Applicants will need:

• A current WA driver's licence.
• The ability to pass pre-employment medical assessments required for mine site access.
• The ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for mine site access.
• The ability to pass regular Drug & Alcohol screening.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills for data entry, email, quoting and invoicing.
• A willingness to undertake long-distance driving between mine sites, which is a regular requirement of the role.
