Field Technician

Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems while providing excellent technical and customer support on-site. About the role EZETech is a locally owned Managed Service Provider (MSP) in Port St. Lucie, Florida, founded in 2012, delivering managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud, and VoIP services to businesses. As a Field Technician, you will install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems, working directly with customers to keep their systems running efficiently. Key responsibilities - Install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment and computer systems - Terminate and test Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a Ethernet (RJ45) using T568A/B standards; terminate coax cable - Install, mount, and secure IT hardware: TVs, network racks, patch panels, access points, cameras, and more - Deploy and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and surveillance systems - Perform regular maintenance and optimization of PC hardware - Provide on-site technical support and train customers on proper use and maintenance of equipment - Document service tickets, maintain accurate records, and follow safety standards - Travel to customer sites as required Qualifications - 2+ years of experience as a Field Technician or similar role - High school diploma or equivalent (required) - Technical degree or CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ certification preferred - Strong knowledge of networking equipment and systems; experience running and terminating Ethernet - AV/TV mounting and programming experience; experience with PoE cameras and NVRs - Ability to lift 50+ pounds (server racks) - Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills; able to read technical documents and manuals - Able to work independently and manage time effectively - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willing to travel and work flexible hours as needed What we offer - Company truck and fuel card - Health, dental, vision, and life insurance - Paid time off and parental leave - On-the-job and paid training - Opportunities for advancement - Employee discount and referral program How to apply Apply here on Indeed, or submit your resume through our resume form at https://ezetech.com/submit-resume/ and name this role in the Message box.
