• Location Flexibility: We are looking for candidates near major airports or TEL offices (Portland, Phoenix, Minneapolis, Austin, Albany) to support our West and Northeast regional customers.

What You Will Do:

• On-Site Service: Perform service, repair, and troubleshooting on semiconductor processing equipment.
• Technical Support: Order and install parts, perform upgrades, and respond to emergency service calls.
• Customer Interaction: Coordinate activities with supervisors and customers to minimize interruptions.
• Knowledge Sharing: Instruct customer technicians on system operation and maintenance.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current on equipment and tools through training, manuals, and factory periodicals.
• Asset Management: Maintain the upkeep, security, and maintenance of company property (vehicles, tools, etc.).

Who We Are Looking For (The Ideal Candidate):

• Mechanical Aptitude: You have experience or a strong interest in mechanical assembly, building, or working with tools.
• Education: A college degree is great, but not a requirement. A HS Diploma with relevant experience will be considered.
• Work Ethic: You are self-motivated, proactive, and possess a positive attitude. You can work independently and take initiative.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Word) is required.
• Hobbies Matter: We love candidates who build, fix, or assemble things in their free time (e.g., woodworking, car restoration, PC building, robotics).
• Industry Experience: Prior semiconductor industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required for the right entry-level candidate.

Preferred Skills:

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Adaptability and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced technical environment.
• Ability to maintain professional standards of conduct.

Additional Details:

• Region: Primary responsibility is supporting West regional customers (with support to other regions as needed) and Northeast operations (NY CREATES/IBM, GlobalFoundries).
• Environment: Onsite, fast-paced, and technical.
