Employment Details

This is a full-time traveling position; however, because our work is project-based, schedules may occasionally be affected by project cancellations, delays, or changes in start dates. These circumstances may result in temporary periods between assignments.

Our goal is to maintain a consistent workload and minimize disruptions whenever possible. As a general expectation, a typical rotation could involve approximately three weeks of active project work followed by up to one week between assignments if a project is delayed or canceled. The actual schedule may vary depending on project demand, location, and timing.

Flexibility is an important part of this position, as project schedules can change with limited notice.

About Us

Our team partners with Amazon operations teams throughout the country, primarily serving as a Program and Project Management partner providing comprehensive 3PL solutions tailored to Amazon's operational needs.

We work closely with Amazon leadership to provide field support, coordination, and execution—particularly when managing contractors and field teams who may be unfamiliar with Amazon's processes, safety requirements, and operational protocols.

Our work takes place in active facilities, requiring strong communication, attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to complete work efficiently while maintaining a safe and productive operating environment.

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Field Technician to support field operations on Amazon facility projects throughout the United States.

The Field Technician will work closely with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other field personnel to execute project scopes safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is comfortable working in large warehouse and industrial environments, can operate material-handling equipment, and takes pride in completing quality work.

The Field Technician will be expected to work independently when assigned tasks while also functioning effectively as part of a larger project team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on field work associated with Amazon facility, construction, 3PL, and material-handling projects.
  • Assist Site Managers and Project Managers with daily project execution.
  • Install, remove, relocate, and modify facility equipment, fixtures, shelving, signage, barriers, and other project-related components.
  • Perform general construction, facility improvement, installation, demolition, and material-handling activities as required.
  • Assist with guardrail installation and removal.
  • Install and maintain 5S floor tape and other facility markings.
  • Assist with shelving installation, removal, relocation, and reconfiguration.
  • Assist with workstation installation and reconfiguration.
  • Assist with aerial signage installation and other facility signage.
  • Assist with IT deployment, cable management, and related facility support activities when required.
  • Receive, unload, move, stage, organize, and distribute materials and equipment.
  • Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other approved equipment within the scope of current certifications and training.
  • Follow project drawings, layouts, scopes of work, installation instructions, and direction from field leadership.
  • Measure, mark, drill, fasten, assemble, install, remove, and modify project components as required.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and other construction-related tools safely and properly.
  • Maintain awareness of active facility operations and work safely around employees, equipment, vehicles, and material-handling systems.
  • Travel as required to support projects throughout the United States.

Typical Project Scopes

Our Field Technicians may support a variety of projects, including:

  • Guardrail installation and removal
  • 5S floor tape implementation and optimization

  • Ability to safely perform physical labor for extended periods.
  • Ability to read and follow drawings, layouts, scopes of work, installation instructions, and written directions.
  • Strong understanding of basic jobsite and warehouse safety practices.
  • Ability to work safely in active industrial, warehouse, and fulfillment facilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to follow direction while also working independently when assigned tasks.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move materials and equipment as required by the project.
  • Ability to work from ladders, elevated work platforms, and other approved equipment when properly trained and authorized.
