Field Trainer (Consumer Electronics) Central

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on consumer electronics products, features, benefits, and specifications to retail staff and sales teams
• Create comprehensive training materials, including presentations, product guides, and demonstration resources tailored to different audience levels
• Conduct in-store training sessions and product launches, ensuring staff are equipped with product knowledge and sales techniques
• Assess staff competency and provide feedback to improve product knowledge retention and sales performance
• Collaborate with the buying team, merchandisers, and suppliers to stay updated on new product launches and market trends
• Support the execution of promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives at retail locations
• Liaise with store managers and supervisors to identify training gaps and develop targeted solutions
• Monitor training effectiveness through feedback sessions and performance metrics
• Travel to various retail locations as required to deliver consistent training across the network
• Document training activities and maintain records of sessions conducted and staff participation

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in training delivery, preferably within the consumer electronics, retail, or technology sector
• Strong product knowledge of consumer electronics, including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, and audio-visual equipment
• Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in an accessible manner
• Experience in developing training materials and instructional content
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and adapt training delivery to different learning styles
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple training sessions and locations
• Proficiency in using presentation tools and learning management systems
• Flexibility to travel to retail locations across Kuala Lumpur and surrounding areas
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Education, Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred
• Knowledge of retail operations and sales processes would be advantageous
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Malay) would be highly desirable
