Nexplore Instructor Role:

Teach a hands-on after-school class that kids look forward to every week. Curriculum, lesson plans and all materials are provided. You bring the joy.

What you'll do

• Lead the class with energy and keep every student engaged
• Arrive early to set up, and hand students off safely at dismissal
• Manage the room so it stays safe and fun
• Stay in touch with your Program Success Manager

What we provide

• Complete curriculum, lesson plans and materials
• Training before your first class
• A dedicated team behind you in the classroom: your Program Success Manager, a Regional Excellence Coordinator and a curriculum coach

✅Qualifications:

• Experience working with children
• {AA degree or higher} { Zumba Certificate} { Chess ranking} (DELETE FOR SPORTS)
• 2+ years teaching, instructing or coaching (preferred)
• Educational, training or youth-development experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a plus
• Reliable transportation, and able to commit to every scheduled date

Who does well here: teachers, substitutes, education students, camp counselors, tutors, coaches, artists, makers and retired educators with weekday afternoon availability.
