Field Water Treatment Technician

We're growing our service department and need an experienced technician to lead it. The Role You'll be the lead technician for our service department. You'll handle and coordinate all customer startup, commissioning, and service events, working with our internal team and our customers from planning through completion.You'll also assist ownership in running the service platform and train our shop technicians as they take on service work. When you're not in the field, you'll help in the shop testing and finishing systems before they ship.Lead Field Service - Handle and coordinate all customer startups, commissioning, and service events with our team and our customers - Start up, commission, and service industrial process and wastewater treatment equipment (for example, reverse osmosis, ultrapure water, chemical treatment, and wastewater recycling systems) - Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, including PLCs, HMIs, and instrumentation - Perform preventive maintenance and system checks - Write clear service reports and recommend parts, repairs, and upgradesAssist in Running the Service Platform - Assist with service contracts, renewals, and preventive maintenance schedules - Help prepare parts and service quotes, and follow up with customers - Help schedule service work and coordinate with the shop, engineering, and project management

• Work directly with ownership to grow the service business Train and Lead - Train shop technicians on startups, troubleshooting, and service procedures
• Take newer technicians on service calls and sign off on their work - Write down service procedures and checklists so the team works the same way every time What We're Looking For
• 5+ years of field service experience with industrial process, water, or wastewater treatment equipment - Strong troubleshooting skills with pumps, valves, instruments, and electrical controls
• PLC and HMI troubleshooting experience (Allen-Bradley preferred)
• Experience coordinating startups or service work with customers and internal teams
• Experience training or leading other technicians
• Comfortable talking with customers and putting together quotes
• Shop fabrication, piping, or welding experience a plus

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
